Technical Overview of the AS3340

  • Wide Frequency Range: The VCO operates over a wide frequency range, from sub-audio (LFO) rates up to high audio frequencies, typically from 0.1 Hz to over 20 kHz.
  • Linear and Exponential Control: The AS3340 provides both linear and exponential frequency control inputs, enabling precise pitch control and modulation.
  • Pulse Width Modulation (PWM): The pulse waveform output includes pulse width modulation, allowing the width of the pulse to be modulated by an external control voltage. This feature is crucial for creating dynamic and evolving timbres.
